“I had a pleasantly great experience with Vecina Cafe and here’s my feedback. At the beginning it was a lot but with you being so nice and supportive, I’ve slowly felt more comfortable especially with the mentor you matched me with. I did like all the events we had and generally liked helping you set it up if you picked me up. I would say that for some volunteer events we should have a talk with anyone who wants to volunteer and what role they would have while at the event before hand. Sometimes we set up a role the day of the event or when we get to the event and I’m not ready or prepared to do the role properly when I’m just told what to do. Though it’s not a huge issue, it’s just something that I would like to add as feedback. Though I don’t really have any negative feedback with Vecina Cafe as a whole because this is one of the very few things that helped me really get out of the house and actually do things in life and really helped me out there in the public. I do want to continue to stay with Vecina Cafe forever in my life and can’t wait to see how it grows.”
